At the Black Lion we have two en suite rooms, tastefully decorated, with high ceilings, with exposed beams, traditional but with a fresh clean feel, both with beautiful countryside views.

One is called Twr, which is the name of Holyhead mountain, which you can see in the distance as well as the sea. The other is Garn, Llanrhuddlad’s mountain, which you can also see.

Both are doubles (with king sized beds) but Twr also has a sofa bed which is suitable for one adult or a child and we can also fit a single camp bed in either of the rooms.

The ensuite bathrooms are contemporary with a shower in each one.

Coffee machine supplied as well as kettle in the rooms, bedding and towels supplied and homemade breakfast is available from 8am. Hairdryers supplied.

Iron and ironing board available on request.

Owners do not live on site, but available over the phone 24hrs.

Rooms have a separate entrance to the eatery and shop, and as we are NOT a pub, you will not be disturbed with any late night noise, but will have the comfort of having food and a drink if you wish as we serve food Friday and Saturday night, and are alcohol licensed.
